Pharus lappulaceus (Cape Francais Stalkgrass) is a species of perennial herb in the family true grasses. They are native to SãO Paulo, AmazôNia, Santa Catarina, Caatinga, Rio Grande Do Sul, The Neotropics, Espirito Santo, Mato Grosso, Acre (Brazil), Puerto Rico, Bahia, The Contiguous United States, Distrito Federal, Mata Atlântica, Roraima, Paraná, Pará, Minas Gerais, U.S. Virgin Islands, Cerrado, Maranhao, and Rio De Janeiro.
