Elymus smithii (Western Wheat Grass) is a species of perennial herb in the family True grasses. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, Western North America, North America, United States, Eastern North America, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Individuals can grow to 2 feet.
