Bromus catharticus (Rescuegrass) is a species of annual herb in the family true grasses. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Santa Catarina, Rio Grande Do Sul, Distrito Federal, Rio De Janeiro, Mata Atlântica, SãO Paulo, Cerrado, Paraná, Pampa, and Minas Gerais. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Individuals can grow to 1 m.
