Zea mays (Corn,) is a species of annual herb in the family true grasses. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Middle America. They have yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Trigona spinipes, Melissodes bimaculatus, Honey bee, and Common carder bumblebee. Individuals can grow to 8 feet.
