Paspalum distichum (Buffalo Quick Paspalum) is a species of perennial grass in the family true grasses. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Bahia, Western North America, Rio Grande Do Sul, SãO Paulo, United States, Eastern North America, The Contiguous United States, Mata Atlântica, Pampa, Minas Gerais, Pará, AmazôNia, Cerrado, Santa Catarina, Sergipe, Pantanal, Puerto Rico, Pernambuco, Paraná, Mato Grosso Do Sul, and U.S. Virgin Islands. They have simple, broad leaves and green flowers. Individuals can grow to 0.28 m.
