They are native to United States, Puerto Rico, The Contiguous United States, U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, SãO Paulo, Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Cerrado, Pantanal, Sergipe, Paraná, Rio Grande Do Sul, Bahia, Pampa, Pernambuco, Pará, AmazôNia, Mata AtlâNtica, Santa Catarina, Eastern North America, and Western North America. They have simple, simple leaves and green flowers. Individuals can grow to 0.28 m.
