Festuca rubra (Red Fescue) is a species of perennial herb in the family True grasses. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Greenland, Alaska, The Contiguous United States, Canada, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, Eastern North America, and Western North America. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Individuals can grow to 92.6 cm.
