Deschampsia cespitosa (Tufted Hair Grass) is a species of perennial grass in the family true grasses. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, United States, Western North America, Alaska, Eastern North America, The Contiguous United States, Greenland, and North America.
