Bromus inermis (Smooth Brome) is a species of perennial grass in the family True grasses. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Alaska, The Contiguous United States, Canada, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, North America, Eastern North America, Western North America, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, France, Tajikistan, Poland, Hungary, Japan, The Netherlands, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Ukraine, Georgia, Germany, Bulgaria, Austria, Kyrgyzstan, China, Moldova, Yugoslavia, Armenia, Romania, Italy, and Russia. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Individuals can grow to 88 cm.
