Zostera marina (Eelgrass) is a species of perennial herb in the family Zosteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Alaska, Canada, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, and North America. They have simple, broad leaves. Eelgrass form sea grass beds. They have unisexual flowers.
