Najas marina (Holly Leaved Naiad) is a species of annual herb in the family Hydrocharitaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Pernambuco, Cerrado, Ceará, SãO Paulo, Rio De Janeiro, Piauí, ParaíBa, Mata Atlântica, The Contiguous United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.38 m.
