Calochortus splendens (Splendid Mariposa Lily) is a species of perennial herb in the family Liliaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States and Western North America. They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Pygoperdita, Halictus tripartitus, Anthophorula, and Megachile montivaga.
