    Plants up to 30 cm tall. Bulb ovoid, 1-1.5 cm broad; coats brownish reticulate fibrous. Leaves 3-5, 1-2 mm broad, linear, fistular, glabrous. Umbels globose, many flowered, c. 6 cm across. Pedicels slightly curved, up to 3 cm long, reddish-brown. Perigonium campanulate. Tepals lanceolate, c. 6 mm long, white to rose coloured with prominent purple veins. Filaments slightly shorter than the tepals, connate at the base, outer filaments entire, narrowly triangular; inner broader, tricuspidate. Ovary with a dentate corona at the base of the style; style included.
