They are native to U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Mato Grosso Do Sul, RondôNia, Roraima, Bahia, GoiáS, Rio Grande Do Norte, Sergipe, AmazôNia, Cerrado, Ceará, Acre (Brazil), Santa Catarina, Pará, Piauí, Alagoas, ParaíBa, Distrito Federal, Amapá, Rio De Janeiro, AmazôNia, Minas Gerais, Pampa, Paraná, Espirito Santo, Mato Grosso, Rio Grande Do Sul, Maranhao, Mata AtlâNtica, Pantanal, Pernambuco, SãO Paulo, Caatinga, and Tocantins. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.062 m.
