Description:

DescriptionAPI Agathis corbassonii cultivated in South Florida. Under the right conditions, this species can become a huge tree. It has narrow leaves that become increasingly decussate in arrangement (as in Wollemia nobilis) as it matures, yet the branches maintain an apparently plagiotropic orientation. I know of no other Agathis that exhibit this pattern as strikingly, although A. moorei exhibits the pattern a lesser degree.
