Description:

There were around 50 of these minute Wasps that escaped from a Chrysalis case . I had popped it into a jam jar as the caterpillar seemed to be behaving oddly and pupated on a bare wall in full sight of predators.SO7347. Cradley,Malvern, Worcs.Follow up to this photo was the interest taken by Martin Cooper to whom I am indebted for the following wonderful macro shots and subsequent identification by Hannes Baur.10 previous records for U.K. , interestingly one in 1977 from Worcester Biological Records.
