Image of Thyme-leaved Sandwort

Description:

Description: Thymeleaf sandwort is common throughout Wild Horse Island in open dry areas. It often forms dense cover, which probably reflects the long history of intense grazing on this island by horses, bighorn sheep, and other introduced or highly managed grazing species. Veronica peregrina, neckweed or purslane speedwell, commonly co-occurs with thymeleaf sandwort on the island. Date: 13 June 2020, 11:39. Source: Arenaria serpyllifolia - thymeleaf sandwort.
