2009.08.10: Austria, Lower Austria, district Schwechat/WU, 178 m AMSL, thicket near farmland: flower; plant damaged.Usually not flowering at this time of year - in this case due to cut branches, secondary growth began to flower again.The damage most likely is due to herbicides used on neighbouring farmland.Flowering in (may) june/july (august).Very common.German names: Schwarz-Holunder, Holler (A), Holder (VBG/A), Flieder (D).
