Pileus up to 20 cm (8 inch) wide. Very characteristic pleasant smell. Hard corky trama. SP faint, whitish-grayish (?). Spore dimensions: Smooth, 10.1 (SD = 0.7) x 4.0 (SD = 0.3) micr., Q = 2,57 (SD = 0.24), n = 30. Motic B2-211A, magnification 1.000 x, oil, in water. Ref.:(1) A.
