Anethum graveolens (Dill) is a species of annual herb in the family Apiaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Celastrina neglecta, flies, Scolia nobilitata (Fabricius 1805), and Gray Hairstreak. Individuals can grow to 0.65 m.
