Nuphar lutea (Yellow Water Lily) is a species of perennial herb in the family water-lilies. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, Alaska, and Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Lasioglossum nelumbonis (Robertson 1890), Hylaeus schwarzii (Cockerell 1896), and Honey bee. Individuals can grow to 0.34 m.
