Ammotragus lervia (Aoudad) is a species of mammals in the family Bovidae. This species is extinct. They were native to Mauritania, Tunisia, Sudan, Egypt, Libya, Mali, Algeria, Chad, Niger, and Morocco. They were solitary herbivores. Individuals were known to live for 252 months and could grow to 1449.99 mm. Reproduction was viviparous and dioecious. They rely on running to move around.
