Washington Keels commented on "Gasteracantha cancriformis (Linnaeus, 1758)":

I have observed that when the web of Gasteracantha cancriformis is knocked down, a new web is constructed within a day or two in the exact location with the same attachment points. Does this new web belong to the same female or another opportunist taking advantage of a good location? If the same female, how does she get from the ground back to the same tree branches?
