I am a marine biologist from Eilat, Israel. Tripneustes gratilla was my subject for my doctoral dissertation, focused on growth, calcification and ecological effects - mass deformities caused by marine pollution. I published several papers on these subjects, as well as a formal description of a new subsepecies - apparently endemic to the Red Sea.
