Greetings, EOL curators. May I introduce Peter Everill, one of our new EOL interns? Peter is composing articles on habitats and other general subjects that touch on large numbers of species. Each article is attached to a starter list of taxa already. I hope you will find his work well-referenced and scholarly, but please feel free to leave him feedback. This situation seems to arise infrequently enough that when it happens we simply put in a request to our developers to re-harvest the specific set of images in question. If you just directly email me (lshapiro@eol.org) a list of requested image urls for re-harvest, I can make sure this request gets submitted.

Is there a way to cause particular images to be reharvested from their source? I have provided some images which were corrupted during the process of uploading them to our server. They have now been replaced on our server with uncorrupted versions, but forcing reharvest of metadata and new images does not have an effect on the previously harvested images at EOL.
