I work at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. My main interests are in the evolution of gut protozoan parasites, especially those in the genera Entamoeba and Blastocystis. Genetic diversity, both within and between species, is being explored in both Entamoeba and Blastocystis, and in other little studied intestinal amoeba genera.
