Thanks for your comments Tanya! Nice to hear from you! Good luck with your studies. Taxonomy is my favourite type of biology - I love hearing that it interests other people too! :)

Thanks for joining Martin. There's only 2 of us so far, but if you know of anyone else doing sponges on here, please let me know and I will see if they would like to join us. :)

Hi Katja, I just joined this community on Jen Hammock's advice. I have found a few homonyms I would like to add to the collection, but I can't make the collection show in my collections list. Can you please advise me how to proceed? Is it best for now just to post the taxon names here? So far I have found Neosiphonia, Desmanthus and Pleroma. All are sponges and plants. Cheers, Kathryn

Hi All, I am preferring classifications for my group (sponges) and I found a group that has a botanical homonym. It isn't a validity problem - but - EOL chooses to show botanical photos on the taxon pages. Does anyone know how to get rid of the botany photos for these animals? I have preferred the zoological classification and I tried lowering the trust on the photos. I didn't like doing this because they are from an herbarium/botanical gardens and I am sure they are right for the plant - any ideas how to stop the plant pictures showing up for the animal? Thanks, Kathryn
