Tropical Ecologist and Conservation Biologist. managing a conservation project on Hispaniola (Haiti and Dominican Republic). The projects is a collaboration between organisations in the United Kingdom (Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust & Zoological Society of London) and Dominican Republic (Sociedad Ornitologica de la Hispaniola & Parque Zoologico Nacional). We work on trying to conserve the last two remaining endemic (non-flying) land mammal species on the Island. We take a holistic approach which includes research, education, capacity building (training) and long term conservation plans
