Jacqueline Courteau commented on an older version of Actinidia chinensis:
This article needs more references and more inline citations.
-
Jacqueline Courteau commented on an older version of Redcurrant:
The information here seem reasonably accurate, but more references are needed, and more inline citations to key information (such as the botanical description) so that the accuracy can be evaluated.
-
Jacqueline Courteau commented on an older version of Gooseberry:
Additional references would be helpful, with greater use of in-text citations.
-
Jacqueline Courteau commented on "Image of Malus domestica":
This image should be with the Malus genus, rather than Pyrus.
-
Jacqueline Courteau commented on an older version of Pulasan:
This article needs more references and should use in-line citations.
-
Jacqueline Courteau commented on an older version of Common wheat:
This has some helpful information, but it is hard to assess the reliability without in-text citations, and it has a limited scope.
-
Jacqueline Courteau commented on an older version of Prunus maritima:
This article is lacking the references section, which makes it hard to assess the reliability of the information.
-
Jacqueline Courteau commented on an older version of Damson:
As noted, needs more citations to reliable sources.
-
Jacqueline Courteau commented on an older version of Nicotiana tabacum:
Some good information, but needs to be better referenced. The listed references do not pertain to any of the basic botanical description and history (although those sections seem reasonably accurate).
-
Jacqueline Courteau commented on an older version of Avena fatua + Hordeum distichon (48°06' N 16°30' E):
The Hordeum is not visible in detail in this picture, while the Avena is the focus, so it is misleading to feature this with Hordeum.
-
Jacqueline Courteau commented on an older version of Rapa (gastropod):
This refers to a different taxon than is covered on this page.
-
Jacqueline Courteau commented on "Brief Summary":
Full citations need to be provided for each of the cited references.
-
Jacqueline Courteau commented on an older version of Distribution:
Note that although Durio species may be cultivated in Mesoamerica, they originated southeast Asia.
-
Jacqueline Courteau commented on an older version of Nuphar lutea:
More detail would be helpful.
-
Jacqueline Courteau commented on "File:Nymphaea nouchali 2.jpg":
This may not be representative, as the species is generally characterized by blue flowers.
-
Jacqueline Courteau commented on an older version of Distribution:
This article applies to Nymphaea leibergii, rather than Nymphaea lotus.
-
Jacqueline Courteau commented on "Michаel Frаnkis":
In response to your comment (Brief Summary (http://www.eol.org/data_objects/15172998) that the summary for Picea is geographically biased, I would be happy to add any text you could suggest to broaden the geographic coverage, but I couldn't quickly find any references that gave much information about species outside of North America other than Picea abies. Let me know if you have suggestions. Thanks!
