Evangelos Tzanatos commented on an older version of File:Peristedion miniatum.jpg:

While similar to the Triglidae gurnards, the genus Peristedion belongs to the family Peristediidae and not Triglidae, so this photo should not appear in Triglidae but in Peristediidae instead.

Evangelos Tzanatos commented on an older version of Image of an unknown taxon:

While similar to the Triglidae gurnards in appearence, Peristedion is a genus belonging to the separate family Peristediidae (both families of the order Scorpaeniformes). Thus the photo should not be included in the Triglidae family information. See also WoRMS, fishbase.

Evangelos Tzanatos commented on an older version of Carry reserve: sparids (Diplodus sargus, Sarpa salpa) in a Posidonia meadow mixed with rocks.:

this image shows an association of representatives from different species of the family sparidae: on the photo we can see: Diplodus sargus (silvery, with a black spot on the base of the caudal fin), Diplodus vulgaris (similar, but additionally having a black zone behind the head dorsally) and a school of Sarpa salpa (more elongated, having a uniform yellow-silvery colouration).
