I am an NSF International Research Fellow working on long-proboscid flies in South Africa. I have a PhD dealing with Tabanidae taxonomy and have published three papers on Tabanidae thus far. (see below) I am also a member of the Entomological Society of America, and the North American Society of Dipterists.
