Former wildlife researcher (Gombe chimps and Serengeti lions), teacher (U of Dar es Salaam), spent many years in Tanzania, currently in Tucson AZ. I still lead safaris in Tanzania, and participate in various conservation activities in AZ.

Interested in mammals, birds, herps, fish, arthropods and plants. I contribute photos of all of these to EOL whenever I find the time.
