I am currently a Assistant Research Scientist at Marine Biological Laboratory, working on the Encyclopedia of Life and the Data Conservancy. I received my PhD in biological oceanography from the University of Maryland and my BS in biology from Nicholls State University. I am a member of the Phycological Society of America, the International Society of Protistologists, the International Society for the Study of Harmful Algae and the Coastal and Estuarine Research Federation.
