Range Description

For the purposes of this assessment (in view of the taxonomic uncertainties associated with this species), its distribution is considered to be limited to the Aru Islands and Misool Island (where it was originally described). Although it possibly also occurs on mainland western Papua, Indonesia, this has not been confirmed (Richards pers. comm.).
