BiologyAdults occur in small to large aggregations in exposed outer reef slopes and rocky inshore reefs (Ref. 3921). Benthopelagic (Ref. 58302). Diet consists of zooplankton, especially copepods (Ref. 3921). Oviparous, distinct pairing during breeding (Ref. 205). Eggs are demersal and adhere to the substrate (Ref. 205). Males guard and aerate the eggs (Ref. 205).
