Range Description

The species is endemic to Turkey known from streams and springs in Lake Tuz basin in Central Anatolia as Ereğli, Kozanli Gokgol, Melendiz, and streams at Gölyazı, Cihanbeyli and Yeşildere. It may be more widespread in small drainages east of Lake Tuz.
