Range Description

Calicnemia miniata is known from India, with records from Darjeeling in West Bengal (e.g. Selys 1886, Laidlaw 1917, Fraser 1933, Lieftinck 1984) and probably other districts, Sikkim (Selys 1886, Fraser 1933) and Mizoram (Prasad 1997), and from Nepal (Asahina 1974, Lieftinck 1977, Kiauta and Kiauta 1982, Vick 1989). Most of these records are old and none of those dates from after 1979 except that from Mizoram. It is likely to be found in additional northeastern Indian states, Bangladesh and possibly Myanmar and Bhutan.
