Piper gurnard

Piper gurnard (Trigla lyra) is a fish species from the monotypic genus Trigla, family Triglidae.

The range captures the Eastern Atlantic: north of British Isles and North Sea to Walvis Bay, Namibia, including Madeira and the Mediterranean Sea. Absent in the Black Sea.
