Range Description

The species was described from 800 m altitude on Mont Kala in Cameroon (Cambefort 1981), but has a widespread distribution based on only two published, widely-separated locality records from West Africa (Mt Nimba) and West Central Africa (Mt Kala) (Branco 1989). Although widely distributed, its recorded occurrence may indicate localization in upland forest blocks that are widely scattered across the lowlands of West Africa.
