Legionella dumoffii

Legionella dumoffii is a gram negative, bacterium from the genus of Legionella with a monopolar flagellum which was isolated from lung tissue of a patient which suffered from fatal pneumonia.[4][5][6][7][8] Legionella dumoffii occurs in soil and freshwater environments and can cause human pneumonia and accidentally induce other diseases like prosthetic valve endocarditis and septic arthritis.[9]
