Range Description

This species is endemic to Mexico, and ranges from the coastal plain of southeastern Sonora and southwestern Chihuahua, south through Pacific coastal plain to Colima, thence east through though the Balsas Depression to Puebla and western Veracruz (these westernmost populations previously having been referred to as Aspidoscelis alpinus).
