Range Description

Occurs in many southeastern European mountainous regions: in the south of Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, southwest and east of Serbia, north of Albania, FYR of Macedonia, Romania (including the Carpathians), southwest and central Bulgaria and in Greece. Found at altitudes between 900-2,800 m, usually over 1,500 m. This is a European endemic species.
