The Magnolia root borer (Euzophera magnolialis) is a species of snout moths in the genus Euzophera. It was described by Capps in 1964. It is found in the southern United States.

The wingspan is 34-41 mm. The forewings are long and narrow. They are maroon with a gray median area. The hindwings are shiny grayish.[2]

The larvae feed on Magnolia grandiflora.[3] The larvae bore the roots of their host plant.
