Comments: Neckera besseri was transfered from Omalia besseri Lob. by Juratzka in 1860. Synonymy with Homalia trichomanoides f. gracilis was proposed by Si He in 1992 Doctoral Dissertation (Ann Arbor, Michigan) that includes the revision of the genus Homalia.
