Description of Dinobryon sertularia

Lorica obconical, narrowest and tapering posteriorly, expanded anteriorly, slightly constricted a little beneath the anterior border, joined to each other without intermediary or separate pediceles. Organisms elongate-ovoid, attached to the bottom of their respective lorica by a transparent elastic ligament. Stigma conspicuous. Length of of separated lorica 21.2 microns, cells 12.7 microns long.
