Rebecca Johnson commented on an older version of Nudibranch - Cadlina laevis:
There is some variation in the species currently called, Cadlina laevis. This animal looks more like the eastern Pacific C. luteomarginata. These animals cannot be identified by a picture alone and these specimens need to be investigated. This should be listed as cf. laevis. Can this be done?

Rebecca Johnson commented on "Look Alikes":
Cadlina luteomarginata is often confused for Acanthodoris hudsoni which also has yellow tipped tubercles and a yellow mantel margin. Acnathodoris hudsoni cannot retract its gills or rhinophores when disturbed, has much longer tubercles and much longer rhinophores.
