Description of Platytheca micropora
Theca (lorica) organic, yellow-brown, oval, flattened, 12-18 microns long. Cells more or less completely occupy the lorica Flagellum about 0.5 times cell length. Nucleus in the posterior part of the cell and vacuole in the anterior end.
