Range Description

This species was described from Benguela in Angola, possibly the coastal city, but more likely from an unspecified locality in the administrative region of Benguela. It occupies a wide tropical distribution in southern central Africa, but is known from only fourteen museum specimens (Forgie et al. 2006). This may result from under collection due to its food and breeding specialization.
