Range Description

This species inhabits the border of the Sahara Desert in West Africa and it is thought to occur from Mauritania through Mali to Niger (Joger 1981). It may also extend its distribution into into western Chad (I. Ineich pers. comm.). Its has been captured near the border of Algeria and Nigeria and may also be native to these countries.
