Range Description

This species occurs in northwestern Mexico and southwestern United States. Its range includes central and southwestern Arizona, western Sonora, and most of Baja California (except the far northern and northeastern part), including the Pacific islands of Cedros and Magdalena and several islands in the Gulf of California, including Tiburón (Grismer 2002). Its elevational range extends from sea level to 910 m (Stebbins 2003).
