Range Description

This species is found in the Yemen highlands and Tihama (Egan 2007) with a more recent report from the Dhofar region of Oman (mid 2010). Coluber manseri, described from southwestern Saudi Arabia close to the Yemen border, is treated here as a subspecies of this species (Schtti and Gasperetti 1994). It occurs from 25 to 2,000 m asl. (R. Sindaco, S. Busais and M.M. al Jumaily pers. comm. February 2012).
